We are a converted stone barn for up to 30 people. We also advertise as YHA Llangattock Mountain. Graded by Visit Wales as a 5 star bunkhouse and we are also accredited as cyclist and Walker friendly. We can accomodate thirty people in seven comfortable en-suite bedrooms. We have a spacious living area and a superb space outside. There is ample hot water, good drying facilities,under-floor heating , and a fully fitted kitchen for 30.
We are well situated for a wide range of activities including walking, riding, caving, abseiling, cycling, canoing, climbing and fishing. We can put you in touch with local qualified and expereinced instructors.
We are small holding run in on environmental lines. We are Green Tourism Business Scheme gold rated to show our focus on the Environment. At your door are ancient woodland, unusual wildflowers , rare marshland and a wildlife pond. We have a massive and thrilling colony of house martins and swallows zooming around the buildings and this is replaced at night by lesser horseshoe bats.Bird lovers can see many species and botanists will be delighted in the unusual flora.
The bunkhouse has seven bedrooms. There are two leader rooms (each which could take up to two people), and the other beds split into five other rooms. All but one are ensuite. We are as flexible as possible to help you have a wonder ful break which meets your needs. So if you want something unusual do ask! We are wheelchair accessible on the ground floor and immediately outside the building. Do ask for our access statement, if you would like further information.
We are designed to be self-catering with a superb catering style kitchen. If you would like someone else to do your catering then Prickly Pear Catering are able to cook for you. We can put them in touch with you or send you sample menu's.
